Coming to Japanese theaters this summer is the live action adaptation to the popular anime ‘Bleach‘! This much anticipated film is set to release July 20th, and will star many big names. According to IMDb; Ichigo Kurosaki is a High School student, living in Karakura town. He is able to see ghosts, as well as hollows. Later, he meets up with Kuchiki Rukia, a Death God (Shinigami in Japanese). Later, he finds out that he himself is a Death God as well. Ichigo Kurosaki, now with the power of a Death God, is able to protect Karakura town from hollows.
The cast list is as follows: Ichigo Kurosaki will be portrayed by Sota Fukushi, playing Rukia Kuchiki is Hana Sugisaki, and playing Byakuya Kuchiki is Japanese rock star MIYAVI. MIYAVI recently posted the film’s trailer onto his official Facebook page.
Photos from the film have also been released as a teaser for fans before the official release. MIYAVI takes his nickname ‘Samurai Guitarist’ to a whole new level!
